Projects
The BAC supports the following projects with financial and hands-on contributions:
Angstfrei e.V.:
HIV positive children are offered outings, short holidays or Christmas presents special treats.
Cabuwazi Kinderzirkus:
Financial support for the circus in problem neighbourhoods where through training and performing the children learn more perseverance and responsibility.
City Station Homeless:
Berlin’s homeless receive warm clothing and special support for urgently needed equipment (like washing machines and the like).
Clinic for the Homeless at Lichtenberg and Ostbahnhof:
The dental clinic and the general practices for the homeless receive special support for dressing material and medicine.
Fatima Center Iriga City Philippines:
This orphanage is supported financially in order to offer
home and education to orphaned, homeless, physically and
sexually abused children.
Frau sucht Zukunft:
Women in rehabilitation from addiction receive clothing, household goods and financial support for the work project, Café Seidenfaden, and their various other groups, like Violetta Clean or assisted accommodation.
Kinderschutz Zentrum:
Money, furniture and toys are donated for children in this home.
Kinder und AIDS e. V.:
HIV-positive children from underprivileged homes receive support for excursions, gifts at Christmas and other special treats.
Kinder für Kinder - Chernobyl children:
Warm clothing and toys are donated to children from Chernobyl who visit Berlin once/year for medical services and recreation.
KuB-Young People’s Advice Service:
BAC supports street youths’ projects, two of their buses equipped with social workers and basic necessities and a theater project, among others.
“Lesepaten”:
BAC volunteers give first and second grade children get remedial reading lessons and
enlarge their stock of reading material.
Lichterfelde Handicapped Children’s Home:
Apart from the financial donations for special purposes, the handicapped children, some severely, respond lovingly to regular visits.
Streetchildren in Mbale Uganda:
CRO-Child Restoration Autreach, a drop in center for
kids to get meals, medicla treatment, help and consulation.
Virchow Clinic:
In the children’s ward the newborn babies, many born prematurely, are held and cuddled, relieving parents who are often unable to adequately care for them.

The BAC also organizes events such as concerts and recitals, lectures and art exhibitions, international festivities, barbecue, banquets and bazaars.
